Marketing Hub is HubSpot's starting point. It's an automation layer aimed at nurturing an inbound contact until they're sales-ready.
01. The Core Loop
A visitor fills in a form, a contact record is created, and they enter an automated flow based on behaviour. Once they pass a threshold they're handed to sales. The whole design rests on that loop.
02. Lead Scoring
Scoring should have two components: who they are (industry, company size, title) and what they do (page visits, email opens, downloads). Scoring on behaviour alone sends irrelevant contacts to sales.
03. The Handover Rule
Marketing and sales need a written definition of which contact is handed over when. Without it the sales team ignores incoming records and the system quickly loses credibility.
04. The Content Side
Landing pages, blog and CTAs can be managed inside the product. If the website runs on another platform, placing the forms and tracking code there is enough.
05. Consent and Compliance
Commercial electronic messages in Turkey require explicit consent and registration in the national message management system. HubSpot's consent management doesn't cover that alone; the integration has to be built separately.
06. Measurement
Conversion rate and customer acquisition cost by channel should be reported. Emails sent is not a success measure; opportunities closed is.
