HubSpot started as marketing automation and expanded into CRM. Unlike Salesforce it's built around ease of use, and it's strong on the SME side.
01. The Hub Logic
The product is split into hubs rather than modules: Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Operations and Commerce. All share the same customer database. You can buy the hub you need and skip the rest.
02. The Free Tier
There's a limited but genuinely working free version: contact management, pipeline, email tracking and forms. Small teams start there and move to paid tiers as they grow. That's also the product's distribution strategy.
03. Its Strength
Speed of setup and adoption. A sales team can start using it without training. Since the biggest cause of CRM project failure is non-use, that matters more than it appears.
04. Its Weakness
There's a flexibility ceiling in complex enterprise scenarios. For multi-level approval flows, complex pricing and deep customisation, Salesforce or Dynamics fits better.
05. The Marketing Side
This is where it genuinely differentiates. Email, landing pages, forms, workflows and content management sit in one place. It's the natural choice for firms wanting marketing and sales working on the same data.
06. In Turkey
There's no local regulatory integration; e-invoicing and accounting stay in the ERP. Positioning HubSpot as the front end and the ERP as the back end is the most common setup in Turkey.
