Salesforce has carried its agent investment into customer service: a contact centre offering combining AI, channels and CRM in one structure has been announced.
01. The Commercial Picture
Agentforce annual recurring revenue reached around 800 million dollars with strong year-on-year growth. That indicates the agent side has moved out of experimentation into a budgeted line item.
02. What the Contact Center Promises
Voice and text channels, the knowledge base and the CRM record brought into one structure. The agent answers knowing the customer and seeing their history, and hands the context to a person when escalation is needed.
03. The Turkish Angle
Turkish-language support quality, call centre regulation and record retention obligations belong in the assessment separately. The gap between a global demo and a local operation usually appears here.
04. The Integration Requirement
For value to appear, the agent has to reach order, shipment and invoice data. Without an ERP connection, the setup goes no further than a chat layer giving generic answers.
05. The Cost Model
Under agent-based pricing, unit cost should be thought of per conversation. In high-volume support operations that line grows fast; don't scale out before measuring unit cost in the pilot.
06. Where to Start
Begin with a single request type; order status enquiry is a good candidate. Resolution rate and escalation rate give a clear signal within two weeks.
